State Fair

We LOVE going to the state fair every year! One of our favorite things to do is take the kids fishing. It's free and when they ask to go earlier in the year we remind them that they can go at the fair and they're good with that. Hallelujah! We also love going on the slide, eating the yummy food, people watching and going to the rodeo!

They love going on the gravity ride

This year they had a diving show - it was awesome! It reminded me of the old Lagoon shows they used to have. The kids loved it.

Sam always gets picked to be a volunteer. Must be the red hair.

 The food is always the best part. Toby got a bacon wrapped hot dog with all the fixings on top. He said it was the best hot dog he ever had. We also got Mac N Cheese balls - just ok. And not pictured because they get eaten so fast - deep fried oreo balls!

The rodeo was just ok this year, so the boys spent a lot of time down by the shoots. It's hard to tell, but Sam is holding a new lasso he bought with his own money. He was carefully watching the cowboys to see how it was done. He woke up at the crack of dawn the next day to practice.
