Yes, I know this is slightly disgusting but Toby wanted me to post this picture. This is my deep freeze full of breast milk. That's right, 7 shelves worth, stacked deep. The NICU makes you keep a pretty tight schedule of pumping and this is the product. Toby likes to call it Max's food storage. I'm just happy because I'm pretty sure I won't need formula anytime soon. :)
Wow, if I could have ever had that much milk for storage, I would have been a happy camper! Sometimes that pumped milk comes in handy. I could have gotten sooooo much more sleep during the night! (: Lance would have loved that.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, we're so happy you are all back home! What a blessing.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I love this post! Glad to see you've still got your sense of humor in spite of everything you've been through! Love, MKG
ReplyDeletethat rocks
ReplyDeleteSweet!! I am actually kind of jealous. I could never produce milk like that for Paisley, I'm impressed. Way to start them young on food storage! Never too young right?
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you are all home and together as a family again. I am, again, amazed at the strength you all have. Thanks for the example you have set for all of us! We love you all!!
ReplyDeleteApril I am glad Toby talked you into taking this picture. It is pretty impressive. When I was nursing Aubrey she was such a chunk and one of my friends was squeezing on her huge thighs, when she looked at me and said "Good Job Mama!". I never realized that producing good milk was something to give myself a pat on the back about. I think you deserve lots of pats and maybe a few cheers! GOOD JOB MAMA!!!
ReplyDeleteNo way. If Brolin saw this picture he would try to ship himself to your house! No matter how much I eat, no matter how much water I drink I never have enough pumped when we need it. That picture was amazing! You should go into business girl! :)
ReplyDeleteThis brings back memories! Ben called the lactation people at Primary Nazi's! Making us Mom's pump and 'power pump' on a strict schedule. So glad that's over, so glad you're home....again.
