Here is the other side of what happens when the girls go to New York. I, Toby, became Mr. Mom. We had Pizza 4 times and I think we stayed on schedule with naps and stuff. Most of all, here is what I learned:
Being a mom never stops. You don't get breaks or time off until the kids are in bed.
To be a mom, you can never think of yourself because there is no time. You are always thinking of your kids and others.
With young kids like ours, the pick up and clean up never stops.
Speaking of clean up, did you know that as soon as you clean up breakfast and get morning stuff done, it is already time for lunch. Then you have to get kids to naps, then clean up lunch, and then it is already time to think about dinner. Woah! Tiring. I know.
Being a mom also requires great patience. Max and Sam don't always do what you want, when you want.
I learned a lot more, but I think this is good for now. I think every mom should leave on a vacation every once in a while so that the dad can experience this. Probably right before Mother's Day so that she is really appreciated on that day. Most of all I learned how wonderful a mother April is. There is no one better. How she does it every day is amazing. She is wonderful and I love her! Thank you April/Mommy!

This is awesome. HEre! Here!
