She's Finally Eight!

Megan was so excited for her birthday that I finally asked her what she was more excited for: her birthday or Christmas? She said, "Definitely birthday!"

She had a pirate themed party (she's not your typical girl, her last party was spider-man).

It was hilarious to see all her friends show up, some of them hadn't seen each other since school got out. So there was a lot of screaming, giggling and hugs.

My Dad helped us out with the pirate scavenger hunt, and he did a great job.

He was laughing so hard at one point he had to sit down because while the girls were in the middle of the scavenger hunt, with swords in their hands, on their way to find the buried treasure, one girl said to the other, "Oh, I love your toenails!" and the other girl said, "Thanks!" And then they were on their way. It was hilarious. My dad raised 5 girls, but apparently he missed all that stuff.

It may have been mostly girls, but they ate a TON of pizza!
