Toby had to go to St. George for work and once I saw that we were going to be in the single digits here and that Megan had an extra day off of school - we decided to join him! (Lucky Toby).
It was awesome!
It was worth the drive after the first 5 minutes of being there when Max said, "The sun's out! There it is!" Then Sam who was running around all the sudden stopped and bent down to touch the grass and petted it while reverently saying, "Grass! Grass!" Toby was so proud.
We enjoyed thawing out in the 60 degree weather, and I think our car enjoyed it too. After the first night we were there we left puddles of salt in the parking lot from our car finally deicing. It was nice to drive around with no water and salt on the road and a freshly washed car.
We didn't do anything to spectacular while we were there, we just wanted to enjoy the sun. So I think we hit about 5 parks, lots of walks, and swimming int he hotel pool!
