Withdrawals

I drove 4 hours to get me some of this.

My favorite restaurant, Thaifoon, closed down 6 months ago. It was a sad day in the Johnson household when we found this out. The good news is that Toby and I never go out to eat anymore because NOTHING is as good as Thaifoon.

But we did find out that Thaifoon was owned by Ling & Louies and their menus are very similar, so we thought there would be one close - nope! Arizona and Idaho were the closest. Luckily Toby has to make trips to both places so when he told me he was going to Boise for a trip I ditched the kids and caught a ride with him. We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed staying in our Presidential Suite at the hotel. We were in the car more than we were out of it, but it was soooo worth it.

I can't wait for the next time!
