We were so excited that it snowed (a lot) for Christmas! This meant that we would finally be able to go Extreme Sledding! It's been a couple years since we've been able to go and it was great fun. We were even able to go a few different times. But the first time we went the conditions were perfect - lots of snow pack and fresh snow for when you crash! Unfortunately, we did have some casualties this year. The 2nd time we went we took Max for the first time. He takes after his mother and loves to sled and he's good at it too. We kept telling him not to go head first but he really wanted to so we finally relented, but then he almost died and I ruined Grandam Leila's Christmas by sending her the video! Thank goodness for helmets!

I refuse to watch this video again. I still get a knot in my stomach and tears in my eyes when I think about it.
ReplyDeletenothing like a nice spine realignment! I just noticed his boot went flying off too. Linz must have been there making sure Max didn't join her on the other side.
