San Diego

I tagged along with Toby on his work trip to San Diego. It was awesome. I sat by the pool for 2 days, read 2 books, got a massage and facial, went whale watching and ate some yummy food while watching everyone else get drunk! Good times for sure! I got to pretend like I was filthy rich because Toby's company was wining and dining all their clients, so I got spoiled too! Every night was a fancy reception with good food, a band, and an open bar. The resort we were at was amazing! I kept getting lost. The best part was no kids! I got up and went running and when I got back I was kind of tired, so I took a nap! And there were no kids yelling at me to tell me they needed something! Too bad Max was slowly dying at home. He got real sick while we were gone and Dad & Kathy were super nice to take care of him. Max was even nice enough to pass the sickness onto my Dad. My Dad is real happy about that!

Toby had to fly in before me with this crew (all the CEO's of the company) but the hotel had overbooked and they only had one room for all of them! No worries, they had a slumber party! They even had prayers together before they went to bed! So funny!

We hung out a lot on Bish & Leila's patio. They had a huge suite with snacks brought in everyday!

Whale watching was fun but COLD! We saw a shark jump out of the water, lots of dolphins and saw a whale go breach (jump out of the water)!

At the last night of the reception they had these cool tree people there!
