Missionary Stuff

On our way out for more visits. These are the stairs leading up to Bish & Leila's apartment.
Believe it or not, we did do some missionary stuff while we were there. We did lots of visits (which we loved), we went to the ward FHE activity - which was lots of fun, and we were even there for their Valentine's Day Activity which was also a lot of fun.
This sweet lady helps people in the ward to become more self sufficient and she's been wanting to get a food dehydrator to show people the different things they can do with it. Bish & Leila surprised her and had us bring one from home. She started crying the minute she opened the box and saw what it was. It was a sweet moment to see.

The ward FHE activity, the kids loved it!

Why are the little kids there soooo cute!?

Our team was frantically trying to look up a scripture.

Megan went up for our team. She had to close her eyes, tip her head back and balance on one foot! She won!

The plank contest. Max won with his abs of steel.

Sam, making friends as usual.

Someone from primary came up to me and the kids and gave us these treats, then they handed them out to the rest of the kids in primary and those kids LOVED it. We decided we should wait til we got home to try it.

We didn't love it (it was spicy!) but I'm glad we tried it.

We were there during zone conference. Here's all the Elders.

Diana - who's getting ready to put in her papers for a mission - came to babysit the kids while we went to the Valentine Activity.

I loved the set up that they had. Cute balloons with candles in plastic coke bottles with a ribbon around it. Perfect, simple and not overpinterested. That is now my goal in life.

This is how they serve drinks - out of a garbage can!

  1. That "punch bowl' is one of the most interesting things I've ever seen. But, it's only used for drink, so why not.
