School's Out for the Summer!

We made it through the last few weeks of summer! Hooray! Here's the kids on the first (left) day of school and last (right) day of school. I think Megan grew the most and unfortunately the boys stayed the same. Sigh. Toby and I helped out at the Field Day again. I love going, the kids are soooo happy, and you have no choice but to be happy right a long with them! Megan officially survived her first year of junior high. She did it with a 4.0 - she did awesome. We didn't see her for the 2 days after school was out, there were so many parties and hanging out at station park!
Of course, now that we've had a week of summer under our belts, the kids are already bored. Oh well, happens every year.
Max's 2nd grade program. Why do they do these? They're soooo long. I think everyone would be happy for 2 songs and call it good!

Field Day

This picture shows what an awesome mom I am. Sam's teacher made those pinkish shirts for all the kids for their program. Sam looked hideous in his with his orange hair, and I knew he'd want to wear it everyday so I threw it away as soon as the program was over. Then his teacher decided it would be great on field day to have everyone wear matching shirts. Oops.

This is a really bad picture of the fire truck hosing down the kids.

Max has a friend that has donuts at her house after the last day of school every year. So yummy.
