Memorial Day

On Memorial Day we went on the kids' favorite hike to the rope swing. Luckily, we were smart and left early because we knew it would get busy - and it did! By the time we got back to the parking lot, the lot was full and people were parking down the road! But we got our own family time on the rope swing and since there was so much spring run off, the river was pretty cool too!
We ended the day with a BBQ at Grandpa's and the kids were mesmerized by the first sightings of humming birds for the year!
