Spring Break!

Going on Colossus - I still scream my guts out every time!
We were all excited for Spring Break! We needed a vacation. Life has been crazy busy, and unfortunately I don't see any change from that in the future!
We started the week out by going to opening day of Lagoon as per tradition! We love getting there early and walking on all the rides before it gets busy. Sam is way to spoiled because if we have to wait in line at all he starts to complain and wants to go home.
Then we headed to St. George for a couple days while Toby did some work there = free trip! Can't complain about that! We also decided just to drive his car so all the gas would be paid for. This meant the kids had to smash in the backseat and I figured we'd all be regretting this decision about 30 minutes into the drive but I was pleasantly surprised - it was no big deal! Score!
On our way to St. George we stopped in Cedar City so Toby and Megan could do baptisms - we had tried last time we went through but it was closed for cleaning. I took the boys to the park while they were in the temple.
We didn't have any specific plans for St. George but as we were driving into town and Megan and Max started seeing places we'd been and remembering things we'd done, Sam had no idea what they were talking about. We realized Sam was a baby when we came down here a lot so we basically did all the stuff first-timers do, and it was a lot of fun! We took him to the slot canyon above the temple - no one was there, it was a miracle! When we passed by later that afternoon, there was no parking left! Crazy! Then we took him to Snow Canyon and played in the sand dunes, the petrified sand dunes, and the lava caves. We also 'cruised the blvd' because that's what you do in St. George on spring break. And most importantly, we swam a lot! The temperature was perfect, and the sun felt so good! It was a nice, relaxing trip! We even stopped at Cove Fort on the way home - it was actually pretty cool!
Megan's made a scrapbook of all the different temples they've done baptisms at. It's pretty cool, they always take a selfie.

Sam would only agree to do this picture if I held his hand
Petrified Sand dunes!
Lava Caves!

Sam was still getting over a cold and had lots of moments like this
Our hotel was by the river, so we would come down and throw rocks of course!
This is a horrible picture, but it's the only one we got - this was the coolest park we randomly found. It had these 3 swings that were hooked together to a bar and could swing you around. Toby got us going sooo fast I almost threw up. It was awesome. We came back the next day. We wish there were parks like this at home!

We also went to the famous all abilities park and this is Toby pushing a million kids on this merry go round thing.

I didn't take any pics at the pool cuz I was enjoying myself too much, so this one will have to suffice of Sam getting dressed with one sock and nothing else!
