School's Out!

School is OUT! We are all very happy! May did us in. I've never been so busy, feeling like I was treading water with just my nose sticking out. My house was a mess, we were all exhausted, but it was a fun exhaustion with the happiness only May can bring knowing you're so close from being done! And I'm so far behind in blogging that we'll just start at the end and work our way back!
The kids all had a great school year. Megan is finally done with Jr. High (let the heavens rejoice!) but I realized that I have such a big gap from Megan to Max that any kind of leg up I got from having her in there will be gone by the time it's his turn. Oh well. Megan was recognized at the 9th Grade recognition night for her amazing grades and citizenship. Then then next morning she was chosen by two of her teachers to be recognized for her hard work! We are really proud of her! She worked hard this year with hard classes!
Sam only got sent to the principals office twice this year, we're hoping next year it's just once!
Max is still a brainiac and I don't see that changing anytime soon!

I volunteered at Field Day (my favorite) and got to hang out with Max's class

 

Max's class was the last one to do this ice activity. So gross. At one point, it was just ice in the pool with fun little toys for the kids to pull out with their feet, but by the time we got there it was a muddy mess!
