We started the day with the 5K. Max keeps getting faster, clocking in 26 minutes - and that's even with all his July 4th stuff on! Then we moved on to the Johnsons for the main event. It was made even more fun this year with a blow up slide and a foam machine! The foam was so funny! We lost people and dogs in it and the kids finally put on goggles so they could see through it!
Then we all piled in the car and headed to Midway to have even more fun at Laura's neighbors house and a yummy BBQ hosted by Laura and Jake. We were hoping to stay up late enough to watch fireworks, but we were all so tired we drove home and went straight to bed and didn't even wake up when all the fireworks started! I think that means it was a fun day.
