Girl's Camp

I had about 2 days to recover from our Oregon Coast trip and get ready to feed 200 girls at Girl's Camp! Yeah, I don't recommend that. But really, it was a lot of fun. I have never had so much fun and been so exhausted at the same time. The first day we were there my watch said I had walked 10 miles! I got about 3 hours of sleep total for the 2 nights we were there. We went to bed late after prepping for breakfast and had to wake up early, before the sun, to get breakfast going. I'm sure being so exhausted made things more funny. But doing it with those 4 ladies up there was a blast, even when Lindsey cut the tip of her finger off!
I naively thought I'd be able to hang out with Megan and our ward. This was pretty much all I saw of Megan.
Our camp had these fun obstacle courses and I ran down to take a pic of Megan when I heard she was there.
To make things even more fun - it rained all day! The day before was 100 degrees and then next - rain! Only in Utah! That meant all the girls came to hang out in our bowery, which was great because then I got to see Megan!
Us cooks had to go in to town to get some supplies and stopped at this bakery to get some cinnamon rolls that were the size of our face! That pecan one was my favorite. We were so tired that Lindsey payed for the rolls and walked out the door without grabbing the box. It's a miracle we made it back to camp!
Forcing ourselves to take a break and eat the cinnamon rolls!

Dutch oven cooking! Delicious!
Since I was always up before the sun, I got to see some beautiful sunrises!

After this - I drove home one day early to get ready for the next trip - Alaska Cruise!
