Mendehall Glacier

After we got out of the fjord, we parked in Juneau for the day. We drove into the Mendenhall Glacier. The picture of us at the top is where Bish and Leila saw the glacier 15 years ago - right next to them! It's melted clear back there. Crazy!

After the glacier, Toby and I took the tram to the topish of the mountain and did a crazy steep hike to the very tip top of the mountain. It was very pretty, very hot and very steep. I wasn't expecting to do a hike that felt like I was back in Utah hiking because it was so hot! I guess Alaska is in a drought right now and it's been unusually hot. Bummer for us that sweat so much!

We had to smash in our Lyft car on our way to the glacier. I got the floor.
