The leaves surprised everyone with their color this year. All the weathermen said they wouldn't be very good because of the drought, but they've been beautiful! And we decided to hike up to Pretty Valley to enjoy the colors. Megan's so busy being a senior that she wasn't able to join us. But the boys were ecstatic that our hiking dog joined us. This dog always seems to appear when we go on hikes up there and we love it. It keeps the boys from complaining and then they'll stop asking for a dog for a day!
