Halloween. I would love to gush on here to say how fun it was, and I loved every minute of it but let's be real. I didn't love it, and I just wanted it to be over! I don't know if it's me getting old or the fact that my kids are older but I just don't enjoy Halloween like I used to. I don't think it helps that Halloween has turned into a party/gathering every weekend so it just drags on. And this year our elementary school added a trunk or treat! What? Why? Nobody knows. I tried to be the nice mom and told Sam I'd go with him, but he was completely uninterested so we invited all his friends over for a late night instead!
The boys still go trick or treating with their friends. Megan was with her friends all day and all night. Toby passed out candy. So that left me to do whatever I wanted! Score! Maybe I do like Halloween!
