Christmas Eve

We had a nice Christmas this year! The kids had the week BEFORE Christmas off of school and that was REALLY hard for Sam (and me) so we had to find some fun things to do. Our friends told us about the lights up in Ogden and since there isn't much to see at Temple Square, we decided to check it out! We're glad we did! They have awesome lights and cute little houses to look in and a free train ride! It was the best. (Except for when Sam asked me every other minute when we were going to leave. Sigh)

We hosted Christmas Eve with my fam and it was fabulous! I loved having little kids around to remind me how fun Christmas can be. Teenagers tend to ruin that.
Look how excited those cute kids are!
The food was Amazing thanks to everyone!
We caroled to a couple houses and Jake even wore a light head band! It was so fun to see old friends.
This was the best part of the night. Alicia and Dan's talent. Dan sang some goat song while Alicia danced around it with bells. It was the best. Then we burned the goat! Apparently this is a Swedish tradition? I don't even care if that's true. It's now a permanent tradition for sure!
We did a talent of a harmonizing song
The boys opened their onsie jammies that might just be their favorite present!
We did sibling gifts

We finished our Christmas candle wreath learning about the different names of Christ. We all really enjoyed it!
