Teenager in the house!

You know you're maturing when you ask for cheesecake for your birthday! Yum!

Max is 13!! Which means we have another teenager in the house! Luckily, he hasn't gotten too grumpy yet. But he does love to sleep and can be oblivious to what's going on around him, but we love him anyway. Max is an amazing kid. He's super smart. The other day I asked him if it's more annoying being super smart or that other people are dumb. He said "That other people are dumb". Ha ha. The price you have to pay to be smart! He's crazy good at the piano and I love watching him play. He's also really funny but you've gotta be listening close to his funny remarks. He doesn't shout them out for all to hear.

We took some of his friends (and Sam) to boondocks.

It was crazy that it was December and it was warm enough not to be in a jacket and to get soaked on these tube things.
