| We saw lots of houses with slave quarters. This house had a whole wall with just some of the names of slaves that worked in that house. |
| Apparently Savannah is big on the arts and there's a huge art school there. They have a modern art museum that made me laugh. I must be uncultured. |

| But the building was beautiful! |
| The weather didn't cooperate with us, so we went out to a plantation. But it wasn't a typical southern plantation. It was actually one of the first settlements in the country from when the pilgrims came. |
| We happened upon the plantation on the one weekend where people come to reenact things. They're all volunteers and we got to see musket firing and canons. It was pretty cool! |
| The streets are all cobblestone in Savannah, and this was a sidewalk! |
| We went to a really old cemetery. |
| We planned our days around food! It was delicious! |
| Right behind that sign is where Forrest Gump sat on his bench! |
| I went exploring one morning and came upon this plaque. Super cool. |
