Universal Studios Part 1

Spring break was fun for everyone this year. Megan went on a 10 day senior trip with her grandparents, Camryn and Chad to Europe (more on that later). We realized that since she had already gone to Universal Studios earlier in the year with her choir group, that we could take the boys without feeling guilty for not taking her! Sam had also worked really hard on finishing all the Harry Potter books and didn't remember when we went to Universal Studios in Orlando. So we found some cheap flights and a great hotel and off we went!

The boys were pretty excited to show up at our hotel and see Universal from our room!

We used the evening to walk around the City Plaza and plan our day at the park.

That's our hotel behind the boys. It was awesome just to be able to walk over to the park.

The boys got their wand maps out to study where they wanted to go the next day.

Since the boys don't know how to sleep in, we were first in line for the park to open

We rushed over to Harry Potter Land to ride the rides before the lines got long.

It was also nice to be there early because the boys got to try out all the spells without having to wait in line.

The boys hated the Secret Life of Pets ride but they laughed their heads off when they turned into dogs.

We LOVED going on the studio tour. In fact, we did it twice! Sam loved all these old movie cars.

Sam thought he was going to die.

The boys were pretty sad to see they missed Nintendo World by 1 year!

We LOVED going to the shows. They were awesome. Except for the fact that it was 97 degrees! Yeah, they were having a heat wave for the 3 days we were there. That's ok, we made sure to sit in the splash zone to cool off.

Best dinner ever at the 3 broomsticks!
