Disney Day 1

Rope Drop Day 1
Disney! We made it! Megan was our trip planner for this one. She researched all the things for us and then I talked to a friend who's obsessed with Disney and we came up with a daily agenda. All of which included making it to rope drop! That's right. 3 days of rope drop. We walked 12-14 miles a day. Completely different than when we had little kids! I much prefer it this way! We had to wake up at 6:00am every morning and then Megan and I would go wait in the security line while Toby and the boys ate breakfast. Then they would meet us in line with some breakfast for us and we would get through security to be the first in line at the gates. Then they'd let us through the gates until you get to the rope. Then at 8:00 a lame song would come on and they would drop the rope and it was a free for all to get to the ride you wanted, all while you were making reservations on the app for other rides! It was crazy but our plans totally worked. We hit most of the rides by lunch time. We were awesome.

All the people behind us at rope drop
Our first ride of the day! My favorite - Space Mountain!

Jungle Cruise
Stopping for a delicious lunch of Fried Green Tomato sandwich and onion rings!
We also did the canoes which none of us have ever done before!
Stuck on Splash Mountain!
We had to get off the ride with all of those people and go down a back staircase and through the ride. It was kind of cool.

Sam got to drive on Indiana Jones!
The kids had no desire to see the characters but I made them pause when we happened upon this random parade.
Then it was onto Star Wars Land - the place we'd all been waiting for. It did not disappoint1 It was amazing to see everything.

Rise of the Resistance ride. Worth the wait.

Max & Sam were the pilots on Millennium Falcon ride. I almost hurled

Sam was in heaven in Star Wars Land. He asked me to take his picture everywhere.

I love this picture. We're in the middle of the Rise of the Resistance ride and Sam was so into it that he had his hands out pretending they were guns to shoot the bad guys.
