| Rope Drop Day 3. Can you tell how swollen our legs/feet are after 3 days?! |
Day 3! By this day our feet didn't hurt anymore, they were just numb. This day was intense. All of our plans hinged on rope dropping to Star Wars Land. We knew it was a long ways away (1/2 mile) and that people would start sprinting, but we knew if we kept a steady pace we'd make it there. And we did! I wish I'd taken video of what it's like to rope drop to Star Wars. Its crazy! The workers are yelling at you to stop running. There's crazy people sprinting past you and people falling all the while you're just trying to keep up with your family even though you're not sure if your feet are still attached to your body! Sam sprinted the entire way there and was very first but he had to wait for us. (They don't let you on without your group). So we were the first group to ride Rise of the Resistance for the day. So fun! And since our plan worked we realized that we could ride Millennium Falcon twice in a row with no lines. So we did! And we put the ride in Chewie mode so that was fun. After that we only chose rides we really wanted to do and took more breaks to eat good food but stayed the whole day until the parade and the fireworks at the end. We left Disneyland with nothing left! We had done it all and seen it all! Which is good because I already told the kids I'm not taking them back!!
