Max competed in the USU piano conservatory again this year. We were hoping for maybe an honorable mention, but that's it. Imagine our surprise when they announced 1st place and said Max's name! We both looked at each other and started laughing, then Max went up to accept his award and play his winning piece. Then when it was time for his next category we were pleasantly surprised when he won 2nd place! He was so glad he didn't win 1st, he says his armpits were too sweaty to sweat through playing another song! I was so proud of Max, he's worked really hard to get to this point.
