Nauvoo

We headed to Nauvoo after we closed 6 Flags. We pulled in at dark and rounded the corner to see the temple lit up. It's so pretty it looked fake. Seriously, the prettiest temple I've ever seen. We got to our hotel (across the street from the temple) and crashed hard. Luckily we got an awesome room where everyone had their own bed. We woke up and couldn't find breakfast anywhere so we gave up and drove to Carthage, found a DQ and had ice cream for breakfast! Then we went to Carthage Jail and then drove back to Nauvoo to tour all the things then we had an appointment for baptisms. We actually ended up having an hour before our baptism appointments so Megan and I ran and did Initiatory and then conveniently got lost and walked around the temple. It's so pretty. The details are amazing.

Even Sam slept in. It was a true miracle.
