Lake Powell

Otter's Cove - our home for the weekend

Toby and I got to spend a magical 5 days in Lake Powell with our friends from high school. There were 16 of us there and we had the BEST time. Greg is a Lake Powell pro and planned everything out so well and was a great captain of the house boat. We spent every waking minute doing something fun on the 2 boats and 2 jet skis and at night we all sat on top of the houseboat and looked at the stars while we chatted. No one got injured and nothing broke so it was a great trip!

We got all the girls and the guys up on knee boards! The boys went first and it took them 3 tries. Then the girls went and did it on the first try of course.

The first day we went to an arch so we could all ski under it. Boats wouldn't fit, just jet skis. That's Toby.

Kyle lost the game which means he had to go down the slide of shame in the middle of the night. He was so mad that he put on his wife's swimsuit to do it.

Watching these guys ski is so awesome. 

The water is so low this year. Usually when we go to this place it isn't a waterfall. Usually they cliff jump from the top. It's crazy how it changes from year to year.

The "Lake Powell Challenge" was happening while we were there. I guess these giant speedboats race from one end of Powell to the other. It was so cool.
