Sam had a great first year of lacrosse. The team and coaches were amazing and were super nice to Sam aka Crush and really helped Sam improve. The team was Region Champs and made it all the way to the semi finals where they lost in a close, heart breaking game. Their head coach, who won coach of the year, wasn't able to coach that day (long story) so the team was just off. Super sad, but Sam's excited to get back at it next year. Sam was fun to watch and really improved and led his JV team with takeaways even as a freshman.

Unfortunately Sam's season didn't end the way he wanted. He got a pretty bad concussion at one of the last region games and we ended up having to take him into the ER to get a scan. Gratefully all was well but then he had to start the long road back to playing. | | Concussion protocol |
