Max is one!
There were many times over this past year that I thought I would never live to see this day, mostly because I was so exhausted. But we made it! After 3 years of trying to get pregnant, one in vitro procedure, one complicated pregnancy, 5 days in the hospital trying to keep the kid in, 28 days in the NICU, and one emergency surgery for pyloric stenosis - he was all ours, and we are happy he's here!
In case you can't tell, he really enjoyed his birthday cake!

But he came anyway, 7 weeks early.
But he enjoyed his stay because he was the nurses favorite!
Among sadness and heartache Heavenly Father always provides happiness and miracles. You have had your share of both. I'm glad today was a day of happiness and definitely your little miracle! We sure love you guys. Happy Birthday Max!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen such a huge change in a baby in one year. Can't believe he's the same little guy. Isn't that called metamorphesis??
