Then, on our way to Bath we drove past this random gate. We all yelled at Bish to pull over and we looked around and figured out this was the back entrance to a huge estate! This "back" entrance was more beautiful than any "front" entrance I'd ever seen. And the sky looked amazing. Once we walked to the gate we could barely see the huge house way off in the distance that belonged to the estate. It looked like something out of Pride & Prejudice. We tried to drive to the entrance of the estate but we almost got stuck in some mud on some side roads that probably no American had ever been on, so we gave up. But we did more research on the estate and found out it was built in the 1700's and was in the town of Badmitton where Badmitton was invented! Who knew?!
We eventually made it to the town of Bath. It was beautiful and had really cool architecture. They also had a Jane Austen museum so of course we had to visit. We also visited the Roman baths. That was very cool to be in something that was so old. The Cathedral there was one of my favorites.
The cute doors on Bibury Lane. Even I would have to duck! (barely)
Swan Lake gardens in Bibury.
The houses across the street from Bibury Lane. The whole town was quaint looking!
If you squint you can see the house way back in the middle.
The cute sheep we saw on the muddy back roads trying to find the huge estate.
The closest I'll ever be to "Mr. Darcy". By the way - the old guy in the picture is the most photographed man in England!
Had to get me one of these!
They actually paid money to have flying rats on their heads.

Bish touched the healing waters and came away a new man!
That's the Abbey in the background. (Can you tell my face is actually hurting from smiling so much? It's true.)
The bed & breakfast we had had a piano! Wahoo!
We also got to stay in this cool room!
This is me checking in with the kids making sure they haven't killed our babysitters yet!
Amazing! What an amazing trip! So beautiful!
