Christ Church, Blenheim Palace & Burmingham!

The gardens outside Christ Church
We woke up in Oxford and quickly made our way to see Christ Church. It was beautiful! One of my favorites, and Harry Potter was filmed there! We then drove quite a while to Burmingham to visit the mission office there and see the tree that was planted there for Lindsey. There was a nice mission couple there that let us into the office and told us that everyone that comes through that office is made aware of Lindsey's legacy. That was really nice to hear. While we were in Burmingham we decided to go see a soccer game! It was so fun and a miracle that we were let in! (We were too late to buy tickets) Those people take those games seriously!
Christ Church!

Once again, Toby was obsessed with the grass! See that guy right behind Toby? They're called "Bowlers" cause they dress up in suits and wear the bowler hats. They're kind of the security there.

Recognize this? This is the room they used to make the great hall in Harry Potter!

This is the staircase they used to film the scene from the 1st movie when all the first years are waiting to get sorted and Neville loses his frog and Harry meets Malfoy for the first time.

They used these hallways in the movie too.

Before we left Oxford, Toby & I went running to a beautiful park where these hurdles were. I bet Toby that he couldn't do it, but he did! It might not have been pretty, but he didn't fall on his face!
Blenheim Palace! This is where Winston Churchill was born!
Blenheim Palace was AMAZING! I had no idea places like this still existed. And people still live in it! It was huge! Your idea of huge is not big enough for this place. Many people say that it has the prettiest views in England. We could have stayed there for days.
The view from the front porch.

It has it's own river & lake!

This was the "Italian" garden. There's so many gardens - they all have their own name!

A portion of the backside of the palace.

Once again Toby was obsessed with the grass.

Of course we played frisbee. Those white tents in the back right are where they hold horse races.

This is the "prettiest view" in England. To bad I took it with a lame camera. But seriously, trust me that it is, and I saw some amazing places.

The Lindsey tree at the mission office.

Hooray! I found Lindsey's favorite "biscuits"!

Goal!

Our awesome car we drove. Bish got in on the wrong side 99% of the time and I laughed 100% of the time!
