Springtime Fun

Sam couldn't stop laughing because his hands were stuck together.

Spring is my favorite season. I love that everything's green and it's exciting to be outside again. It also doesn't get too hot for us Spjutes and I can open my windows and have fresh air! Love it! We got a new fire pit thing and have used it often with friends and neighbors. The kids are big fans of smores. Did you know they even make square marshmallows? Very cool.
Megan has been going to lots of dance competitions and doing a great job. I would be scared out of my mind to dance in front of that many people, but that could just be because I can't dance. At all. Megan also learned how to ride Toby's unicycle and rides it everywhere. Her friend is trying to talk her into trying mountain unicycling with him. She's not so sure about that.
Max ran his first 5k. No surprise, he did awesome. He is our runner. Her can run, hike, bike and never get tired. He got Toby's genes on that one. Lucky.
The boys sang Give Said the Little Stream with Megan accompanying them in sacrament mtg. It was awesome. There were people clear back to the stage because of a mission farewell and it didn't even phase them!
I had another birthday to remind me that I'm getting old. I remember when my mom was this age. We figured out that Megan is the same age I was when my mom turned 35. Which is also sad to think about because Megan is my oldest and I was my mom's third. She was a professional by the time I came, I still have no idea what I'm doing with Megan. We just had a lesson on shaving legs and such. It made me want to cry. Why do they have to grow up? And why do I have to get old?

Toby found 2 rubbermaid sleds for my bday! If you know me at all, you know that this is super exciting and I can't wait to go extreme sledding with them!
