Summertime

We thought this summer would be kind of slow because there didn't seem to be much going on. But I think in my worry that everyone would be bored, I planned too much! It has flown by but we've had a great time. Of course, we've spent almost everyday at the pool. Sam goes off the high dive and the whole pool loves to watch his crazy antics when he does. Now that he swims so well, I don't really have to be with him in the pool. So I actually get to sit and read a book while they swim!!! This is a whole new reality for me and I am not complaining.
We've made summer go by fast by putting the kids in lots of different classes. They all took swim lessons. Max took a tumbling class which he loved and after the first day told me that "I think this is my thing". So we'll be putting him in some more classes this fall. Megan took a cake decorating class and loved it and then squeezed in Apple Camp where she learned to make a movie at the Apple store. And Sam didn't get any classes other than taking a class on how to annoy me the most this summer and he has excelled at it! Yay Sam!

We've loved having Sofi over, she's hilarious. "Where'd it go?"
