Gardener Village & A Pumpkin Patch

Last Monday we realized this was going to be the only day that we would be able to go to Gardener Village! So we jumped in the car and made it there. Unfortunately, we forgot that it was a holiday for some people and it was busier than what we're used to. But the witches were fun to see but the kids were disappointed in the bakery. It got remodeled, which it really needed, but it stopped making all their huge donuts! And that was the biggest reason the boys liked to come! So, we'll see if the tradition stays alive. The kids did pick out their Christmas ornaments for the year. Megan got a brace face girl, Max got a cool airplane, and Sam got a John Deere tractor.
Later that week, we did our annual Pumpkin Patch with our neighborhood. We go during the day so it's dirt cheap and we have the whole place to ourselves. It's awesome!

This new witch was my favorite. I had to explain to Sam that she was caught in a web and the giant spider (on the other building) was going to eat it! He thought it was pretty cool.

Yum! Fresh carrots!

Picking out their pumpkins

Playing in that corn is really fun! It feels cool.

They could've stayed here roping for hours.
