The Newest Member of the Family

Before I can blog about Christmas, I need to write about what happened a few days before Christmas. We got this little beauty delivered to our house while the kids were at school. It's a secret we kept for a long time and our code word for it was the "new car" (because we might as well have bought a new car!). But the kids had no idea it was coming and are pretty excited to have it! When we showed it to Max he started smiling and walking towards it while I was telling him this was an early Christmas present, he stopped right after I said that and said, 'I did not ask for this for Christmas!'. I then had to explain that I'm sure Santa would still bring him what he asked for! Toby's had a hard time getting any work done since he has to walk passed the piano to get to his office.

The best $60 we ever spent! We asked the delivery guys if we could pay them to take the old HEAVY piano downstairs. They agreed for $60.
