Firetrucks, Mercedes & an Orchestra

I went with Sam on his field trip to the fire station. It was ok, but my favorite part was going back to the school and watching him at recess. He comes home everyday a sweaty, dirty mess because he plays football every recess. This isn't just flag football, they're full on tackling. They get in trouble almost everyday but that doesn't stop them. They've even made up 'football' names for each other. Sam's is Savage. He loves it. And it's been helpful for Toby because now the boys want to watch football all the time.

Dog pile!
There's a new Mercedes dealership in Farmington and we heard they were having a party with lots of free stuff, so of course we went. We were expecting hot dogs like every other free event, but we should have known since this was Mercedes that this would be better. They had a yummy food truck there you could order what you wanted from. They also had a bounce house there and small remote control cars to play with. The kids had a great time. And to say we didn't fit in, was an understatement. We forgot to wear all clothes that came from Nordstrom. Oops.

We went to Viewmont for Megan's orchestra concert. Which was surprisingly good! But Toby's find overshadowed that. He thought his trophy from taking state in diving was long gone, but when he was wandering the halls with Sam, he found it! The boys thought Toby was so awesome for having a trophy. They didn't realize it was for something that no one cared about except for their moms! (it's the big one on the far left)

  1. Love this! I hope Toby's new job pays enough to buy Megan's car when she's 16. And I still feel bad there's no state championship banner hanging in the gym.
