Christmas Eve

This picture deserves the top spot. Traeger turkey. Yummm
Christmas Eve was sooo nice this year. It was just us, and we were thinking of inviting another family over, but the kids overheard us talking about it and asked if it could just be us! No problem! Luckily we got some snow the night before, but it was pretty warm and melting fast, but the kids managed to get out and build a snowman. Then we went to the new Grinch movie. It was so cute, and a fun one to watch on Christmas Eve. Then it was time to get home and get dinner finished. Our turkey had already been cooking on the Traeger all day. It was sooo good. best turkey I've ever had. Of course, we had enough food to feed 10 families, and of course, Megan was the only one of the kids to eat dinner, but I enjoyed a yummy dinner.
After dinner we gathered for talents and testimonies. Megan drew a pretty picture of our Christmas tree. Max showed us all his amazing artwork - he even has a comic book. Sam played the piano (which I was pleasantly surprised to see that he played the piano since he hates it). I showed them all the blog books I finally got printed out that goes back to 2007. Toby learned 3 hymns he can play on the piano by reading the music so he can accompany the men at church!
Testimonies were wonderful. I love hearing my children bear their testimony. Sam was super cute and got emotional.
The kids opened their jammies and all went to sleep in Max's room per tradition. This year we hooked up our projector and they watched a Christmas movie on the wall as they went to sleep. It was a great night.

We went to visit Linz & Grandma and Sam left Linz a snowman.

Sunday night, we drove through the awesome lights at Layton Park. They were awesome! The kids stuck their heads out of the sunroof.

Max finished his Lego Advent calendar - it's pretty cool!
He plays!
