Busy Week

It started out with Grandparent Lunch - the boys always love it cuz they bring McDonalds!!!

Well, every week is a busy week. But this one was extra special trying to get kids where they needed to be when they needed to be with projects and things ready to go!

Then a night at Megan's dance studio where they were trying to convince me that I could get ALL of Megan's hair into this mo hawk thing for her dance competitions. They clearly have no idea what I'm dealing with.

 Not only does Max have early morning rehearsals everyday for Mulan, he's had to write a report on Mozart, memorize it, find a costume, and give it to the whole class. He did a great job, and gratefully, he can memorize things pretty much after the first time he's seen it. Which was good because we didn't have a lot of time to work on it!

We squeezed in 2 YW basketball games. Megan is the star of the team.

 Then we prepared for the piano recital. Megan got her awesome gold cup trophy for getting a Superior 3 years in a row at Federation! Both kids were prepared for the recital, but it wasn't their best performance, but then that means it will be flawless for the judges!

Megan's not in this picture because we had to leave early to get her BACK to dance!

Sam and his friend Liam sold a chance to play Pac Man at their market day. It was a big hit and no mom or Pinterest was involved in the making!

 

 But at least we got to end the week with a visit from Sofi and Claire and a beautiful walk at the bird refuge. We got them all tired out so they would sleep good. Hopefully.

 The kids walked out on the ice and thought that was super cool.

Our cuddle puddle on Sunday - finally a break and a group nap after a busy week!
