The Wind Storm

 We survived ANOTHER wind storm!!! If I have to live through another one I'm going to drive off a cliff. 2020 has been no joke and I'm ready for it to be over. This wind storm brought a lot more damage than the last one. We lost a pretty big section of our fence and lots of big tree limbs, our trees now look like they're diseased or something. Our power was out for 3 days, which was really not fun. Our awesome neighbors let us plug in our fridge and freezer into their generator so we didn't lose all of our food. School was canceled for 2 days. Our neighbors lost countless trees. We were cleaning up everyday for a week after. The first 3 days after the storm was over we were out from sun up to sun down helping just our cul-de-sac. We were exhausted. The only good thing to come of this - we got to see neighbors and friends we haven't seen in months because of stupid Covid! And if you can't get Covid in a protest then you definitely can't get it serving people, right?!

I lost count of the number of trailers we filled up.

See how there's still leaves on those trees? There are zero leaves on them now. This was just the beginning.

One good thing to come of all this - Sam realized he loves buffalo wings!! Hooray! We went to dinner with the old people who's power was also out.
