Festival Days

Festival Days is always a favorite around here, and we were so excited that it was on this year!! Most of the other cities canceled their celebrations again but Farmington was a go! After running the insanely hot 5k in Centerville, no one in the family wanted to do another one which was too bad because it ended up being surprisingly cool that morning! We think that's the first time in 20 years that no one from our family has run in any of the races. Grandpa was awesome and made his traditional breakfast casseroles before the parade, Yum! The parade was lots of fun but also insane! There were soooo many people there! But I wasn't complaining because I was just happy to be there. After the parade we headed to the pool and had it to ourselves while most people were visiting the actual festival. We ended the night with a great fireworks show and the next day had a great mission farewell with our good friends The Other Johnsons! It was a great weekend!
