When we moved into this house we knew the carpet was getting old and needed to be replaced. Well, we took care of that 8 years later!! And I plan on dying on this carpet and I don't care if it goes out of style or someone spills an entire pot of spaghetti sauce on it. This is it. It's never being replaced again. Moving out of your house to get new carpet is no joke. I was exhausted, the kids were exhausted, the carpet layers were exhausted. It was a lot. (By the way, carpet laying would be the worst job ever!)

Sam's football team hasn't lost yet! He's got a great coach that has made sure every kid gets a touchdown.

A christian church had set up a life size replica of the Old Testament Temple/tabernacle in West Jordan. I thought it would be a good experience for the kids to rub shoulders with another christian church, and I'm hoping they'll remember what they learned for when we study the Old Testament next year. I was pretty proud of my kids for making in through the tour. It was a long one, and not the most exciting, but we had a good discussion about it on the way home.

Everything in this picture has meaning. From the colors, to the ridges on the table.
