SnowBird

We went to Snowbird again this year with all of the Johnsons. We stayed in the house right next door to the house we stayed in last year, but they're pretty much the same. It was beautiful and fun and exhausting all in one!

We got there a little early so we could go on our own hike and went to Cecret Lake. It was really pretty. Now we want to go when all the flowers are in bloom because we caught the tail end of it.

The boys went on bike rides to the lifts.

Me, Megan & Toby went on a hike to Red Pine Lake. It was a doozy. It was 8 miles total, we gained 2,000 ft. in elevation and made it to 10,000 ft. It was really pretty but the last mile was straight up over rocks and Megan thought we were never going to get there, but it was well worth it!

If you've ever hung out with the Johnsons then you know there's lot of stupid human tricks/games.

There's also lots of food. Kurt said this burrito made by Brandon was in his top 5 favorite meals of his lifetime!

The last night we were there everyone did lip syncs. It was awesome. The boys did their own called Dinos in Love. It was awesome

By far, the best ones were done by grandma Leila and Grandpa Bish. Sonny & Cher were the best!

Our family used my old talent show from my Ricks College days. It went ok, but since none of the Johnsons have seen Titanic it wasn't as funny for them.

I can now say I've been to Oktoberfest! I've never seen so many drunk people in my life! You could smell the beer in the air! We did get to see a cool yodeler though. And to think they all have to drive down the mountain later...

The last morning I did my favorite hike up the mountain from the house. I'd forgotten that it was straight up hill and I don't know what I was thinking but then I saw views like this and I remembered why I loved it!

I'm not even sure if I should post these pictures of this bike ride. These boys went out early the last morning, knowing they had to be back soon to pack and leave. They were almost 2 hours late. There were a lot of wives/kids not happy. I guess I'm supposed to say we're glad they made it home safe. Whatever.
