Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a pretty low key Thanksgiving, which was just fine by me. We went to the mall one night to get Max a suit for his baptism and Santa was there and no line! So the boys got to talk to him and Sam is still afraid of him!
We woke up Thanksgiving day to go running as a family on our 1st annual Johnson Family Turkey Trot! We've decided to all go running Thanksgiving morning no matter what the weather, no matter what the moods are from the kids! It was a lot of fun because Sam is hilarious and Max can run forever.
Then we went to El Rancho and fed the sheep, horses, and baby chicks. Then we got to hunt for all the eggs. It was a lot of fun. Then we had a wonderful dinner cooked by Kathy. It was YUMMY. Then we all got in the car and headed to the hospital to have pie with Alicia while she's in her confinement. It will be a Thanksgiving to be remembered!
Megan took Owen to the park.
A blurry picture of the whole family running!

Max LOVED all the animals.

Heidi showed us how awesome she was at catching chickens!

Do you see any eggs?

Feeding the baby chicks bread. Who knew?

The boys came home and laid in the warm sunshine spots.

The beast was full.

Pie at the hospital!
