Sammamish

We did our yearly trek up to Washington to visit Mel and the kids. Toby HAS to go every year so he can swim in a lake, it rejuvenates him. I'm happy to oblige because then I get to hang out with Mel! The kids pick right up where they left off - which is having a lot of fun together. Henry has been added to the mix and he's hilarious. Toby's goal the whole trip was to get him to say 'Toby' - he thinks Henry came close once.
Mel is always the hostess with the mostess and spoils us rotten. We were disappointed that it wasn't cool Seattle weather while we were there. We were all looking forward to having to put on our jackets - unfortunately, that never happened. But the skies were clear from smoke, so we weren't complaining!
One of the highlights of our trip was going to a SeaHawks game! It was sooo cool to be at an NFL game! It's insane! We were totally in the nosebleeds but we didn't care, it was just cool to be in the atmosphere, and of course to see Russel Wilson play - Sam could hardly contain himself that he actually got to see him.
And of course, we went swimming in lots of lakes, but I'll save those pics for another post - lucky you!

We first met up with cousins in the canyon to go to a cool waterfall/bum slide place. It was awesome! Very pretty!

If you go to the Balls you have no choice but to play with Legos, they're everywhere. Good thing my boys love Legos!

We went to lots of parks

The weather was so awesome, that in the evenings we'd just hang out like this. All the boys would end up taking their shirts off. Poor Megan was the odd man out.

Of course, we did smores.

As usual, we hit Triple XXX for root beer floats

We went swimming at the Y and I had to add this pic because Henry saw Mel and wanted to be with her but couldn't get there, so he's crying and it was so funny!

We played King of the Cousins - a bunch of different games. This challenge was the saltine cracker challenge. So funny - they all looked at me like I was dumb because they didn't think it would be hard. Marcus ended up throwing most of his up and people were proud if they got 2 down in 1 minute!

This was a stick game where each person holds a stick and someone yells Right or Left and you let go of your stick and try to grab the next one without it falling.

Then we did this marshmallow game where the person in front has to bite of half a marshmallow and the person in back sticks it to their face. The most on the face wins. So funny.

 

We played a blanket game where 1 team hides under the blanket and the other team has to guess how many people are actually in there.

It finally exploded and Landon went crazy! Apparently he loves watermelon!
