Going to the lakes at Mel's house deserves it's own post. The lakes there are amazing, beautiful, refreshing and awesome. And we're grateful that Mel has made some really nice friends that live right on the lake that don't mind having our crazy kids play on their toys. We get to live in a dream world for a few days, and it's the best.
The kids played on this for HOURS.
By the end of the week, Megan got pretty good at doing tricks on her paddle board

The annual, dig a hot tub - I mean big hole in the sand.
This picture is hilarious because I have no idea who those kids are that are staring at Sam's head.
Sunset on the lake is the BEST!

Probably
one of our favorite things we got to experience this year, was The
Blob. Last year, it had a hole, but this year it was up and running and
we put it to good use! For some reason, Max always got the most air and always came down for a bad belly flop, but he was pretty tough.

This is what the drive home looks like. Sam trying to sneak as much sugar treats as he can, and Max completely zoned out to the world for the 11 hours of our 11.5 hour drive home. Yes, that's a new record. Would've been 11 hours total if McDonald's had cooperated.
