New Year's Eve

We decided on New Years Eve to test our luck with Extreme Sledding. We weren't sure if there would be enough snow, but it ended up being perfect!!! There was ice underneath to make you go fast and powder on top to soften the falls. We all had a blast. And Toby and I still laugh that in high school we both fit on the sled he's holding. Now it's hard to curl up to fit one of us on there! We're so old.
When we got home from that, we grabbed our swimsuits and went to the Rec Center to swim. The kids loved it, I froze. The water was freezing! So I stayed in the hot tub. Luckily, we ran into Dan & Alicia so I could sit and chat with her.
After that we grabbed some sandwiches and were planning on eating, then going for a night hike with our snow shoes and head lamps, but the wind was not cooperating!! It was sooo windy. Toby had to go save our neighbors tramp from blowing over into another yard. So instead we stayed in and played games and ate more food. I tried real hard to stay up but it just wasn't happening. But everyone else made it!
The next day we went bowling with the Dittos and then Toby and I had fun meeting up with our high school friends. We're all so old. Our kids are either in high school or about to start high school which is when we all met. Crazy.
They were soo happy to finally make it Extreme Sledding!

Alicia had some awesome poses.
And we finished one more puzzle!

Toby found this pic before we met up with our friends. We all laughed at how young we were. This is right after they all got home from their missions. About half were already married.
