Surviving Quarantine

Sam doing Zoom with his class

I have a love hate relationship with the quarantine. I have LOVED the family time. We have really had some good times, and having church in our house is awesome too - but sometimes you need to see other people!!! I am so grateful that our schools transitioned to online learning relatively smoothly because the week we had off for Spring Break almost did us in. It was sooo boring! Being back to school today felt awesome and I know the kids were excited as well. We are all pros now at Zoom. I've had ward council over Zoom and lots of workouts (I miss my gym!) over Zoom. The virus is still spreading. Things in NYC are pretty scary. 1/2 of the of cases there are in the city alone. Not sure how or when this will end - I really try not to think about it too hard.
This is us social distancing - before it got really scary. But it was so good to see people!

Trying to find things to do has been fun. We go on a walk EVERY day at least once, and on this day we tried to see how fast we could run.

Utah also had an earthquake the first week of quarantine!! People were freaking out! And the trumpet on angel Moroni fell off! So one of our walks was to see the angel, it was pretty surreal to see.

Our clock stopped during the earthquake.

The kids made a chain to count up, it's depressing so I don't look at it.
We busted out the karaoke machine, it's bee a lot of fun.
The Johnson men are struggling with the quarantine, so golfing is the compromise.

This is what home church looks like -(mostly the part about holding Sam down)
I survive by meeting up with the neighbors every once in a while for a chat!
